Whoo hoo! An actual piece. I'm sure you were all getting bored of just seeing all my refs. A big piece at that!

May I say that this is the first piece that I've done in a long time where I actually like it. Honestly, I'm very proud with this picture. The only thing I wish I did differently was the shading on the tail. BUT. I don't care!
I tried a new style with line art, that I actually like. Tried a new color technique, that I actually like! And I experimented with the background a bit, and I think it even turned out really well. (Backgrounds have never been my strong point u_u)

But, I had this idea of Kayo in my head. Not really sure why crows, just happened to come to my head. May be a new theme for his petpage, if that ever happens. XD

Anyway I'd really appreciate comments on this, to see what you guys think to this style. <3

Kayo&Art both belong to me.

Wow really fantastic job :D The trees look amazing. I love his eyes, too, and the shading on the wings is soft and detailed. Awesome job xD

You almost make me want to go back to neopets. :P

Fantastic work! I really do like the BG in this. I also like the fact you used three different colouring styles on Kayo himself! Like the textured fur look on the neck and part of the face, the smooth main body and a slightly more blocky shading on the green hind legs! The eyes look very nice too. I love the light reflections in them ^.^
